BJP National Organization General Secretary Shri Ramlal ji, Pradesh President Shri Satish Upadhyay flagged off the truck in the presence of Delhi former Leader of Opposition in Delhi Legislative Assembly Prof. Vijay Kumar Malhotra.Ramlal ji said I feel proud & happy to be a part of BJP family where the workers are themselves coming ahead to contribute in relief work showing the sensitivity of party men towards national calamities.Today’s consignment included 300 tents, 4 ton rice, 1 ton pulses, 500 blankets, 5 boxes of women garments, biscuits and water bottles along with medicines worth around Rs. 5,50,000.  On this occasion large number of party workers were present.

Deployed army columns have build up to 212 and approx 22,000 people have been evacuated so far, including 2000 persons from Srinagar city and adjoining areas on 09 Sep. 65 Medical Teams and 15 Engineer Task Forces(ETFs) are deployed and airlifting of 04 additional ETFs and 10 Medical Teams is underway.
Relief operations are continuing with unabated intensity. 83 Tons of Emergency rations, 3000 blankets, 45,000 liters of potable water, 1000 life jackets and 220 Tents are also being airlifted from Chandigarh, Pathankot and Kanpur.The buildup of troops and rescue materials will continue in view of the impending task at hand. All available army aviation recourses have been pressed into service
