The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee in his message on the eve of the martyrdom day of Guru Teg Bahadur has said, “On the eve of the observance of the Martyrdom Day of Guru Teg Bahadurji, let us recall his supreme sacrifice and message of love, peace and unity of all communities.
May his teachings inspire us to work for harmony and integration within our society. Let hatred and violence find no place in our thoughts and may the courage and humanism which Guru Teg Bahadur stood for guide our path always.”
