New Delhi:- BJP Delhi Pradesh meeting held today, the Office bearers and District Presidents welcomed the newly appointed Pradesh President Shri Satish Upadhyay in the presence of Pradesh Incharge and MP Shri Prabhat Jha and discussed about the measures to speed up the organizational activities. From the organizational point of view, Shri Satish Updhyay said that he will visit the Districts and Mandals for about a month regularly. If any shortcoming is found in the organization, he will try to remove it soon.
Former Pradesh President & newly appointed Governor Prof. Om Prakash Kohli was felicitated in a meeting at Pradesh Office today.Pradesh Incharge Shri Prabhat Jha said that I have always got inspiration from Prof. Kohli in the organizational works and I believe that the way in which Prof. Kohli has worked for social harmony in Delhi, the same way he will discharges his constitutional responsibilities as the Governor of Gujarat and give the people of Gujarat an opportunity to experience the culture of Delhi.
Pradesh President Shri Satish Upadhyay said that life of Prof. Kohli is an example of remaining connected with organization and taking all together. Thousands of students of Delhi have been inspired by Prof. Kohli in their student life or in the mainstream of the party and he has also encouraged the new workers. In the year 1982, I got an opportunity to contest for the post DUSU Vice President under the guidance of Prof. Kohli and after that I benefited from his experience in organizational works on many occasions.
Pradesh President Shri Satish Upadhay attended another meeting with MPs of Delhi. The participants discussed about increasing the participation of the MPs in the activities .
